GEOMAT has performed several explorations, engineering analyses, and field and laboratory testing projects resulting in geotechnical reports in support of the redesign and renewal of FEUS’s Animas River power generation facility at McCormick School Road in Farmington, NM. In addition to initial resistivity explorations, eight borings and one test pit were advanced at the site to provide the detailed geotechnical information needed by engineers for plant design. The work was performed over a series of campaigns throughout 2019.
