GEOMAT performed geotechnical engineering, laboratory testing, and prepared a geotechnical report for the NHA RFP 271 Streets Rehabilitation Project. The project consisted of pavement recommendations for 17 scattered subdivisions and approximately 28,800 linear feet of streets that were demolished and repaved or resurfaced. The project included coordination with the Navajo Nation, Navajo Tribal Utility Authority, and other tribal entities. The drilling was completed in approximately one week and the report was completed within approximately three weeks.
We are proud to share that UES, a national leader in geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, materials testing and inspection services, acquired GEOMAT in October 2025, expanding the firm’s West region and becoming their first New Mexico-based branches.
We will continue to operate and perform our work as GEOMAT, A UES Company.
